Offering representation to policyholders in Hurricane Ida insurance disputes

On Behalf of | Nov 19, 2021 | Firm News

Homeowners and business owners who find themselves in insurance disputes after Hurricane Ida finally have some good news. The attorneys at Cashe Coudrain & Bass are offering legal representation for homeowners and business owners who participate in a new mediation program approved by the Louisiana Commissioner of Insurance.

In October 2021, the Louisiana Commissioner of Insurance approved a voluntary mediation program for authorized insurers and their insureds. The mediation program is meant to assist in resolving disputes over personal lines insurance claims of up to $50,000 resulting from the effects of Hurricane Ida. The program is expected to be in place until June 30, 2022.

Our experienced attorneys can represent you and protect your interests as you participate in the mediation program. We are offering counsel and representation for a flat attorney fee of $1,000 in the mediation, regardless of outcome.

You do not have to go through mediation alone

If you are an insurance policyholder, you have the right to legal representation during the mediation process. Insureds and insurers that participate in the program can have the assistance of appraisers, contractors, adjusters and other professionals. An attorney from our firm can be there with you every step of the way, working to protect your interests and pursuing a favorable outcome.
