Brittany L. Schroder Michael is an associate attorney with a broad range of work experience and community outreach. The majority of her career was spent consulting on litigated, complex, and high exposure claims on topics that include commercial general liability, medical malpractice, auto accidents, road hazards, personal injury, civil rights, toxic torts, and class actions.

Brittany grew up in Covington. She attended Fountainebleau High School before going on to graduate from the Louisiana School of Math, Science and the Arts in 2004. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Louisiana State University in 2008 while simultaneously working full time as a manager of a family business, a restaurant hostess, and a student worker at the Governor's Office. She was also an active member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.

Brittany returned to Louisiana State University earning a Juris Doctorate and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law with Pro Bono Service exceeding 50 hours in 2013. While at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Brittany was a student law clerk for the Louisiana Public Service Commission, obtained qualifications to be a Domestic Mediator, and was elected to student board positions with the Public Interest Legal Society, the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and the Legal Association of Women.

Brittany previously worked as a Litigation Consultant and adjuster for F. A. Richard & Associates, York Risk Services Group, and Sedgwick consulting on complex litigation and high-exposure insurance claims. While at Sedgwick, she was twice recognized nationally as a Values in Action Honoree and appointed to the Process Improvement Team to be the voice of fellow workers to upper management.

Brittany began the Northshore Parent Support Group, an online group for foster, kinship, and adoptive parents to support one another. She is a former board member of the Junior League of Greater Covington and James Samaritan. Brittany actively serves the community as a member of the Junior League of Greater Covington, The Open Table, the Zeta Tau Alpha Northshore Alumnae, the Covington Elementary School Parent Teacher Association, and the Krewe of Eve.
