Jamie Polozola Gomez was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Thereafter, Jamie attended Louisiana State University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2006. While at LSU, Jamie was on the Dean's List and the Chancellor's Honor Roll. She was a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta (Freshman Honors Fraternity), Order of Omega (Greek Honors Fraternity), Phi Kappa Phi Academic (Honors Fraternity), and Phi Sigma Alpha (Political Science Honors Fraternity). Jamie was also active in Zeta Tau Alpha where she served on the Executive Committee for two years as the Public Relations Chair. Jamie remains active in the Zeta Tau Alpha Alumna Association where she has served in several advisory positions.
Jamie continued her studies at LSU where she attended the Paul M. Hebert Law Center. She received Best Brief Finalist in the Robert Lee Tullis Moot Court Competition in 2009 and was named to the Chancellor's Honor Roll. Jamie graduated Cum Laude with her Juris Doctorate and Graduate Diploma in Civil Law in 2010. Before joining the law firm, Jamie practiced in Baton Rouge, Louisiana from 2010 to 2014 in the areas of commercial litigation, banking, consumer finance litigation, class actions, personal injury, and insurance defense.
Jamie began working as an associate at the law firm in 2014. In 2016, Jamie was chosen to be a member of the 2016 Leadership LSBA Class and authored an article for the 75th Anniversary Edition of the Louisiana Bar Journal. Jamie is a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church and serves on the Holy Ghost Fall Festival Committee. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and 21st Judicial District Bar Association. Jamie is admitted to practice in all state courts in Louisiana as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana; Bankruptcy Court for the U.S. Western District of Louisiana; and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
